I have always tried to be ‘stereotypically professional’, which requires me to be concise in almost every work of art I produce. Well, honestly I’ve failed miserably and the only reason is that I don’t believe in ‘restrictive creativity’! So I take the pleasure to call myself a creative writer and picture myself accordingly!
I began writing when I was fifteen...began with a poem and gradually developed a flair for prose writing as well. Writing was always a hobby; I never knew it would bring me so far. My scribbles- on the last pages of my notebooks, to avoid dozing off in a boring lecture- on a rough piece of paper, when I don’t find any book around- on paper napkins, while waiting for my food in a restaurant- on the last blank page of a bunch of photo-copied notes, while learning them for my exams- in every single book of thoughts I buy, while I don’t know which ones to write in- all these have now engraved in me a passion for words, for language and for an impactful literary communication.
I’ve been involved in almost everything that I could lay my hands on. I opted to and thus graduated with English honors with a view to take up writing as my profession. I’m a social activist, currently working on a documentary film. I’m a dancer, possess excellent orating skills; I exercise my thinking tools by writing poems and have penned around 100 of them. Professionally I’m an anchor and have done shows like opening ceremonies, seminars and competitions. I’m a theatre artist and have performed mime and street plays at various places and occasions.
Wonder why I’ve talked about my engagements other than writing? Well, all of what i have done so far has coherently influenced and enhanced my way of thinking and in turn writing. Involvement in a wide range of disciplines has helped me develop a broader and a more comprehensive perception and a huge repertoire of knowledge. So with a perfect amalgamation of my experience and talents what I have to offer here is a good deal of dedication and a handsome amount of innovation to come up with something that speaks enough for my clients to be able to propagate themselves well.
